Is Internet Television here to stay? Most Satellite Direct reviews claim that streaming TV is the wave of the future. Some even think that eventually everyone will watch TV online. One thing is for sure. Technology is constantly changing and improving. Specially in regards to communications. I think it is a little too early to think traditional broadcast and cable TV is dead. But our home computers are changing the way we do things, that much is for sure.
I mean only a few years ago who would of guessed that we would now be watching TV on a PC? Internet Television was only a dream back then. Our home computers didn’t yet have the capacity to handle video very well. But as we have seen over the last couple of years, that’s no longer a problem. And the technology is rapidly getting even better.

There are already thousands of people downloading and watching movies online from Netflix through their PC or gaming system connected to their big screen TV. That technology alone has already put most movie rental companies out of business. So will internet television provide the same consequences for cable television? Only time will tell.
